The AI Friend you can see.
The press kit.
Boilerplate, quick facts, founder soundbites, FAQ, and brand assets, for journalists writing about TalkHereNow.
TalkHereNow is an AI Friend you can see in your real room: a conversation with a life-size 3D AI Friend who appears when you lift your phone and look around. No app to install. No account to create. The intelligence inside is the same class of large language model that powers the chat experiences most people already know, the difference is you can see who you're talking to. Founded by David Rosen, previously at NVIDIA. Built and operated by Talk Here Now LLC (Wyoming, USA), bootstrapped, with no outside investors.
Written in third person for editorial use. Approximately 90 words.
It is a webpage. Open a link, grant camera permission, and the AI Friend is in your room.
About seven seconds between the tap on a link and a 3D AI Friend standing in your space.
iOS Safari or Android Chrome. Two browsers cover most of the world's phones and tablets.
The experience speaks 10 languages from day one, so it works for people far beyond English.
David Rosen left NVIDIA to build TalkHereNow on a single conviction: AI's intelligence has arrived, but the way we experience it is still stuck in a text box.
The goal is simple. Give everyone a way to see and truly interact with AI, instead of typing into a box and waiting for pages of text to scroll back. An AI Friend you can see, life size, standing in your room, that anyone can reach just by opening a web page. No app, no headset, no download.
It should also feel normal, and stay on your side. TalkHereNow never sells your data, and never makes you hand over an email or create an account if you don't want to. To us that is simply the right thing to do, not a strategy. We would rather earn your trust than quietly take it.

- "For years, AI has lived inside a text box. We're putting it in the room with you."
- "The intelligence inside our AI Friends is the same class as the AI many people are already talking to. The difference is the interface, we're making it visible."
- "AI is in its 1981. The math is there, but the experience is still a blinking cursor on a flat screen. We're trying to be the Macintosh moment for AI."
Questions, answered.
How does it work without an app?
TalkHereNow runs entirely in the mobile web browser. The phone's camera looks at your room, finds the floor, and we place a full 3D AI Friend into that space. Everything, rendering, voice, conversation, motion tracking, happens on the device or streams from our servers in real time. There is nothing to install. You open a link, grant camera permission, and the AI Friend is in your room in about seven seconds.
How is the AI so fast and conversational?
Everything we do serves one thing: inference that is fast, smart, and genuinely conversational. A life-size AI Friend that looks at your room and talks back in real time only works if the intelligence behind it answers almost instantly, so running on the fastest inference we can get is one of our highest priorities. On top of that we build the parts that make it feel real: the 3D AI Friend, the voice, placing it in your room, the safety guardrails, and the orchestration that makes it feel like someone is actually present with you.
What about privacy?
Being on your side is in our DNA. Your live camera view and motion never leave the device, so we don't receive or store your video. A few still images you deliberately send (eye button, Roast, Object Story) are described once and never kept. Conversation memory is encrypted and tied to a random ID. We don't sell your data, and we never train outside models on your conversations. Honestly, why would we? We think the internet gets a little better when a product just acts normal and treats you well, and that is what we are going for. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Why an AI Friend and not a "companion"?
We deliberately do not use the word "companion." The connotation in the AI space has drifted toward romantic and parasocial use cases that we are not building for. TalkHereNow is for the mainstream, the AI you'd be comfortable introducing to your friends, your parents, your kids when they're old enough. We chose "AI Friend" because it's clear, warm, and bounded.
What about safety? Especially for younger users?
The product is 18+, with an age check at first visit (visitors enter their date of birth). AI Friends decline sexual content, decline impersonation of real people, and decline self-harm encouragement. If a conversation surfaces signs of crisis, the AI Friend breaks role and surfaces crisis-line resources. See Trust & Safety for the full refusal list and the crisis protocol.
How do I get a demo?
The product is the demo. Open talkherenow.com on a phone or tablet (mobile Safari or mobile Chrome), grant camera permission, and the AI Friend appears in your room. Can't grab a phone right now? The visual walkthrough shows exactly what a user sees, screen by screen. For an editorial briefing or a walkthrough call, email info@talkherenow.com with the subject line "Press inquiry."
