One cookie. That's it.

TalkHereNow uses one session cookie that is strictly necessary to operate the Service. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking technologies.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or for building a profile of you. If you reach us by clicking an ad, our servers report back to that platform whether the click led to a subscription, using only the click identifier that platform created. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

We do not display a cookie banner because under GDPR, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and equivalent laws, strictly-necessary cookies do not require consent.

That is the only cookie we set ourselves. During checkout, our payments provider, Stripe (also the merchant of record for purchases, via its Link checkout), sets its own strictly necessary cookies for fraud prevention and payment security, listed in the table above. These are set only when you enter the payment flow, not during normal use.

The Service also uses your browser's local storage (a separate mechanism from cookies, but commonly disclosed alongside them) for:

• UI preferences you set, theme, language, subtitle mode, and the AI Friend you last picked.
• "Seen" flags so first-run prompts and the per-mode AR explainers (camera, microphone, motion) don't re-display every visit.
• The back camera you previously selected, so the right lens is used next time.
• Your in-browser conversation memory and recent chat history with the AI Friend, content you produced. It's stored on your device so the AI can remember you between visits, and a copy is kept on our servers, encrypted, from your first conversation. Creating an account is what lets that memory follow you to your other devices. It is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.

• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.), we do not run any
• Advertising or retargeting cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, etc.), we do not run any
• Third-party social-media tracking pixels, we do not run any
• Cross-site tracking, we do not engage in it

Because we run no advertising or analytics cookies, no cookie banner is required and nothing is written to your device for marketing purposes.

Separately, and not through cookies: if you reach us by clicking an ad, our servers report back to that ad platform whether the click led to a subscription. That report contains only the click identifier the platform itself created, plus the time and amount. It carries no name, email, phone number, device information, or anything from your conversations, and it happens server-to-server, so no third-party code runs in your browser and nothing is read from your device.

To opt out of that reporting, email support@talkherenow.com and we will exclude your account.

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings:

• Safari (iOS / macOS): Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data
• Chrome (Android / desktop): Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies
• Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
• Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

• European Economic Area / United Kingdom: Strictly-necessary cookies are exempt from consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and PECR. We rely on this exemption.
• California (CPRA): We do not sell personal information. If you reach us by clicking an ad, we report back to that platform whether the click led to a subscription, carrying only the click identifier that platform itself created. We honour opt-out requests for that reporting as though it were a "share" under the California Consumer Privacy Act. We process the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal automatically: if your browser sends it, we do not report your visit or your subscription to any ad platform. You can also opt out at any time by emailing support@talkherenow.com. We do not use sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted under §7027(m) of the CCPA Regulations.
• Other US states with comprehensive privacy laws (Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others): The same applies. We do not sell personal data. The ad conversion reporting described above is the only disclosure we make for advertising purposes, and the same opt-out signal and email route apply.
• Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), Australia (Privacy Act): Our practices comply by default; we collect the minimum data needed, and the only data we transfer for advertising purposes is the click identifier described above.

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example, optional analytics) we will add a cookie banner with a clear "Accept" / "Reject" choice and update this page before such cookies are set.
