TalkHereNow uses one session cookie that is strictly necessary to operate the Service. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking technologies.

We do not sell or share your personal information with data brokers, advertisers, or any third party for advertising or commercial profiling. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

We do not display a cookie banner because under GDPR, the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, and equivalent laws, strictly-necessary cookies do not require consent.

That is the only cookie we set.

The Service also uses your browser's local storage (a separate mechanism from cookies, but commonly disclosed alongside them) for:

• UI preferences you set, theme, language, subtitle mode, and the AI Friend you last picked.
• "Seen" flags so first-run prompts and the per-mode AR explainers (camera, microphone, motion) don't re-display every visit.
• The back camera you previously selected, so the right lens is used next time.
• Your in-browser conversation memory and recent chat history with the AI Friend, content you produced. It's stored on your device so the AI can remember you between visits. If you sign in to an account, the same content is also stored on our servers, encrypted at rest, so it follows you across devices. It is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.

• Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.), we do not run any
• Advertising or retargeting cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, etc.), we do not run any
• Third-party social-media tracking pixels, we do not run any
• Cross-site tracking, we do not engage in it

Because we do not run advertising or analytics, we have nothing to share with advertisers and no opt-out link is necessary for the "sale or sharing" of personal information under California CPRA, Colorado CPA, Virginia CDPA, Connecticut CTDPA, Utah UCPA, or comparable state laws. We do not sell or share personal information.

You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings:

• Safari (iOS / macOS): Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data
• Chrome (Android / desktop): Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies
• Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data
• Edge: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

• European Economic Area / United Kingdom: Strictly-necessary cookies are exempt from consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive and PECR. We rely on this exemption.
• California (CPRA): We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months. We do not use sensitive personal information beyond the purposes permitted under §7027(m) of the CCPA Regulations. Accordingly, no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link and no "Limit the Use of My Sensitive Personal Information" link is required; if you wish to confirm this, contact legal@talkherenow.com. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal by default, because we do not sell or share personal information, GPC has no effect on our processing.
• Other US states with comprehensive privacy laws (Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others): The same applies. We do not engage in cross-context behavioral advertising or sale of personal data.
• Brazil (LGPD), Canada (PIPEDA), Australia (Privacy Act): Our practices comply by default; we collect the minimum data needed and do not transfer for advertising purposes.

If we ever introduce non-essential cookies (for example, optional analytics) we will add a cookie banner with a clear "Accept" / "Reject" choice and update this page before such cookies are set.
