We're a small team building TalkHereNow. The product is live. The bones are built. We're hiring the people who'll make every part of it more beautiful, more real, more alive.

How we hire

Portfolios over résumés. Taste over titles.

No degree requirements. We don't care where you trained, or whether you did. We care what you can show us.

No years-of-experience minimums. The field moves too fast for that to be a useful filter. Show us your reel, your sculpts, your shipped work, and we'll know.

Top-tier tools. We use the industry-standard stack: Maya, Houdini, ZBrush, Substance, Marvelous Designer. We don't ask people to make do with free alternatives.

Above-market pay. We plan to compensate strongly for the right people. Specifics discussed when we talk.

Remote-first. Open to applicants worldwide right now. As we grow, we'll prefer US-based to align time zones and simplify operations.

Full-time, salaried. These are real long-term roles, not gigs.

Animation 1 hire · lead

Lead Animator

Set the bar for how our AI Friends move.

What you'll work on
  • Define and own the animation pipeline for our 3D characters: idle states, gestures, lip-sync, facial expression, transitions.
  • Hand-key animation from scratch. This is bespoke character work, not retargeting.
  • Mentor two other animators on the team. Set creative direction, review work, ship to a high bar.
  • Partner with the character modeling lead on rigging requirements.
Tools you should know

Maya (primary), Houdini, MotionBuilder, Cascadeur, After Effects. Bonus: Unreal Engine 5 for real-time animation pipelines.

What we look for

A reel that shows range. Believable performance, weight, comedic timing, restraint when the moment calls for it. Comfort with both keyframe and physics-based approaches. A clear point of view on what makes character animation feel real.

Animation 2 hires

Animator

Bring our AI Friends to life, frame by frame.

What you'll work on
  • Hand-key animation: idle loops, gestures, conversational poses, lip-sync.
  • Take direction from the Animation Lead and execute to a high bar.
  • Find the small moments, the blink, the breath, the half-smile, that make a character feel alive.
Tools you should know

Maya (primary), MotionBuilder. Bonus: Cascadeur, Houdini, After Effects.

What we look for

A reel of character work where the personality reads clearly without dialogue. We don't care whether it's stylized or photoreal. We care that you can land a performance.

3D modeling 1 hire · lead

Lead Character Modeler

Sculpt the AI Friends our users will spend time with.

What you'll work on
  • Own the full character pipeline: high-poly sculpts, retopo, UV, baking, texturing, hair, cloth.
  • Build characters from scratch. Fresh topology, clean edge flow, ready for rigging and real-time render.
  • Set the visual bar for the look of the product. Define style guidelines, review work, ship to a high standard.
  • Partner with the Animation Lead on rig requirements and deformation needs.
Tools you should know

ZBrush (primary), Maya, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Marvelous Designer, Mari. Bonus: Wrap, real-time hair tools.

What we look for

A portfolio showing strong fundamentals: anatomy, proportion, silhouette, surface. Stylized or realistic, both welcome. We care about your topology and edge flow as much as your final renders.

3D modeling 1 hire

3D Modeler

Build characters and assets to a real-time-ready standard.

What you'll work on
  • Sculpt and retopologize characters under the Lead's direction.
  • UV, bake, texture, ship to spec.
  • Iterate fast. Be opinionated. Push back when something can be better.
Tools you should know

ZBrush, Maya, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Marvelous Designer.

What we look for

A portfolio that shows craft across the full pipeline. Not just pretty renders, show us the wireframes, topology, and breakdowns. Show us how you think.
